how many others have noticed how common it is for active jws to ostracize and shun other active jws?
as far back as i can recall, jws have had an ongoing problem with cliques within congregations, and special needs talks would be given from time to time to address that trend.
but, it seems to me that the practice has become even more pronounced with entire congregations actively shunning other congregations.
The Org wants exactly this when they refer to that action as "taking note of the wrongdoers" based on Paul's words.
Also, if a congregation follows strictly all the ruled from the org, the JWs will feel under too much pressure from their elders. Then, if they get to know of another cong that doesn't take the rules soo 'right', they (actually feel jealous for the partial freedom) tend to criticize this less madatory cong, elders etc. in order to they feel that their suffering is justified.

I said what is true in my case and in my location, which I assume is very far from yours and most of the mebers of this forum's.
i have also attended spanish congregations.
this has helped me to understand and respect totally different perspectives and narratives on race.

Well I didn't read all the 14 pgs of replies but I saw a lot of downvotes in the main post of SBF. I don't think it was necessary. As some of you have said, sometimes the JW get it right, normally this 'right' actually comes from biblical scholars from the past (ones that the org classify as part of Babylon). The part that 'praised' the JW was from a published non witnesses' book and SBF only raised some questions. What I learned from Raymond Franz, Penton and Jonsson was simply that there is not a special organization down here on Earth for God's service. All of them are imperfect and have plenty of flaws, but THERE IS ALSO GOOD PARTS IN MANY OF THEM( I consider the JW environment way morally purer than other groups in my surroundings and it makes me feel good, maybe not you. I consider the Catholic art amazing, and the humanitarian service of many churches and example to follow). If these good parts are worthy to join anyone of them is to each individual decide.

I feel extremely difficult to decide if I stick to or leave the earthly hope. I am pretty sure that the Bible doesn't emphazise this as much as the org wants it to look like but I still can't buy that the humans won't ever have a taste of what is like being perfect in a physical word.

It's not that it's bad. It's actually good. The point is that it was unthinkable 10 years ago and as usual they don't even recognize they reproved this behavior that time. a big part of the JW community is acting like it has been this way (happy, clapping, dancing songs) always . It's all 1984 Orwell rewriting of the past.

after all i was a jobo 50 years and thought the wbt$ was 100% correct.. i ask this because i see that, for example, christian denominations (or whatever), likely have differing interpretations of the same writing.
I don't believe the Bible is 100% inspired. I just believe in a God and I think Christ was a role model and I try to learn about him in order to becoming a better person.
No I don't have proof he existed. I don't think a person has to be proved real to inspire others, see the books and comic books heros.

Dates are becoming more and more irrelevant to WT doctrine, the days of the heavy duty interpretations and conclusions are gone.
All dates except the linked 607-1914-1919. 1919 was the 'assignment of the FaDS' because 1914 was the kingdom birth and it's because it is 2520 yars after 607. So, no 607, no kingdom birth, no FaDS, no submission to their authority.
I don't see they changing it ever. In my opinion they will keep giving fantastic nonsense explanations and new people will continue buying it. We can't say anything because one day we bought too.
